The guests traditionally had “paczki” or polish donuts and came to support a special family, the Przedworskis. Joanna Przedworski lives in Garfield, NJ with five children. Her husband passed away when she was pregnant with the fifth child. This event generated almost $3,000 for them. The Foundation additionally set aside funds to pay for summer get-away for the family.

Director Eryka Volker has brought our attention to Tadzio Celuch living in Poland. Little Tadzio needed a surgery an a German clinic to implant a specialized cochlear apparatus. The surgery was estimated at 35,000 Euro. Mrs. Volker has committed her own money and donated $600 to this cause. Our Foundation matched an additional $900 and we wired $1,500 directly to the clinic for Tadzio.
